 The annual general meeting for CMCC was held at Benson’s house on 31st May.The outgoing committee presented the annual report followed by the treasurer's report. The members also provided feedback to various suggestions through a poll.

Thanks to all again for making the Canberra Malayalee Sports Day 2008 a memorable day with a good turnout from members of the community.
The Canberra Malayalee Sports Day 2008 featured two teams Tidbinbilla House and Ginninderra participating in a social competition. The event provided participants the opportunity to meet other new members of the community, build social networks among community members and participate in sports activities in a relaxed and fun environment! There were thrilling competitions that went down to the wire and great support was provided from friends and family that came to spectate.

Badminton Tournament
There is a badminton (only doubles) tournament being organised in Canberra on
Sunday 2nd Sept 2007 (9.00 AM) at ANU Sports and Recreation centre. This
tournament is being funded by the Dept of Immigration and Citizenship & ACT
Govt.
All participants will be provided with Free T Shirts and light refreshments.
Shuttles will be provided by the organisers. Entry fee: Free. Entry form is

Canberra Malayalees Sports Club (CMSC) was formed in 2004 with the intention of promoting sporting activities within the Malayalee community in Canberra. CMSC also organises the annual Canberra Malayalee Sports day on the Saturday following 26 January.
